Yen – potential long

USDJPY 15 min chart

Hi Everyone,

USDJPY bounced off the 50 SMA, which has been acting as resistance.

But that is not the only reason that I see this as a potential long –

1. MACD above the midline

2. short term trend in up – making higher highs and higher lows.

3. Getting a buy signal on my Serene strategy.

My only caveat is – watch out for the 200 SMA and the daily pivot level and remember do your own analysis.

1. Broke belo a trendline.

2. MACD below the midline

3. Got a sell signal on my Serene strategy.

Morning Everyone,

Just taken a short on the USDJPY. The pair was trading below the daily Pivot Point, it came below the 200 SMA and stayed below the MA and was getting a sell signal on my Serene strategy.

EURUSD in a TIGHT SPOT (15min Chart) !!!

Mornning All,

Looking for any setups and I’ve noticed that EUR in particlaur is in a rather tight spot. After a brilliant up movement yesterday on this Pair (that I know one of our students Izak took full advantage of) it has re traced somewhat over night. In doing so, the Pair has moved below the 50 ma and at present is sitting on strong support (intra day Pivot). As you can see from the chart attached below.

My strategy has given me a signal to SELL.My RSI has broken the 50% line BUT it looks like it will turn. This will occur because the Pair has tested the strong support line. So could see a re-test of 50ma before we probably  see further movement to the downside. Those of you who are quick off the block could have put in order to go SHORT at the close of the previous candle (our signal candle) with your stop above the previous swing low (around 14095). 1st target would be around 14026 (200ma) which happens to be another intra day pivot line. 2nd target around 1400 line and 3rd 1396 area…

Those of you who would want to see a definite confirmation signal to indeed SELL would wait for the Pair to CLOSE BELOW the support area at 14064 before entering your trade.

I would do the latter and WAIT for a definite confirmation that this is a SELL. Too much congestion between 50ma and strong support at the moment. I would rather wait to be given a CLEARER signal that this is moving in the direction I think it will be going. Too many people get caught out in situation like this. My strategy has given me a signal BUT there is too many obstacles(mentioned above) at the moment to make it a genuine signal. This is where a CHECKLIST must/should be used. I’ve seen it countless times where one see signal and jumps in without checking to see if it’s a genuine one….. Let’s see what happens with this one!!!

Please ensure that you do your analysis prior to entering any trades. It’s vital that you do this analysis before hand.There is no need to rush your trades. Patience is key in trading !!! Learn to be patient and you will certainly become a better trader.

Hi Everyone,

I was looking at the USDJPY chart and saw that the pair had been in a channel just above the daily Pivot most of the morning, I saw a break out in the pair and got a buy signal on a Serene strategy.

I took the pair long at 93.73, placing my stop 25 pips below my entry. I closed out my position at 94.314 – saw a doji on the R2 level – bagging 58 pips.

Loonie – 64 pips!!!

Hi Everyone,

Took a short on the USDCAD this morning, reasons for my trade:

1. Below the daily Pivot Point and MAs aligned

2. took out a previous support level

3. Giving me a signal on my Serene strategy

I got in at 1.12969, placed my stop 14 pips above my entry. I closed out my position at 1.12322, I did not want to have an open position with important news coming out – so closed out my position. Making me 64 pips.

LONG and SHORT on USDJPY – make mine a double!!!

Hi Traders,

Too good to be true! This does not happen everyday and when it does, the money is there for the TAKING! I went LONG on the USDJPY, and was 25pips in the money but coming to a previous resistance level – so I CASHED in!!! Within minutes of closing my trade, the VERY SAME STRATEGY gave  me a SHORT signal – at the resistence point. I took the short and closed at the previous trades entry! I LOVE IT!!! This was EASY MONEY!

Snakes & Ladders – TWICE on CABLE!!!

Snakes & Ladders gives two bites at the apple!

Good Afternoon Traders,

What a morning! There was a fantastic setup on Cable this morning, which I took LONG. But, I was stopped out – stoploss did its job and protected my profits!!! Yes!!! This is what we teach you at Serene Education – protect your capital and your profits!

About  3 hours later, the same strategy setup and I once again took the trade and was stopped out with a profit of 61 pips! What a great day’s trading!!!
