Serene Strategy made 272 pips on Loonie

Was looking at some strategies taught on the Serene Trader course, and one of the strategies (those of you who have done the course will know what I’m talking about) it made 272 pips in the USDCAD today!!!

Aussie – Not all trades work out as planned

AUDUSD 5 min chart

Hi Everyone,

Hope you had a great trading day.

I took some good trades today – AUDUSD did a classic Pivot trade today. I went short after the Aussie made a shooting star patter over the Pivot Point at 0.80645 (and MACD crossing over the mid-line), placing my stop 24.7 pips away. My target was the S1 level at 0.7882 (182.5 pips away)!!!

If you had missed this trade, there was a second entry a couple of bars on (RSI divergence).

My trade never made it there, closed out my position when I saw the price bounce off the 200 SMA – only making 41.7 – not all trades work out as planned.

Serene Education Traders take the day off..

Hi Serene Education Traders,

Tomorrow, 4xchick, SereneEducation & EduTrader will not be trading due to other commitments and what we feel is a well deserved break (especially in this volatile market)  I will actually be attending a wedding tomorrow so not much chance of you seeing any posts from me.

We will however have educational lessons and trade updates posted by TradingBabe and a new blogger CityTrader, who will be introduced next week more formally, so encourage you to follow TradingBabe on twitteras much as possible and continur to check the blog regularly for updates throughout the day.

This strategy that is taught on the Live with Trader Class could have made you 180 pips on the GBPUSD so far and you would still be in the trade.  I unfortunately due to going out did not enter this position but the set up, signals and information was there for those who know and use my strategy.  My husband is however in this trade and is beating me with results today!!  ;0(

Well traders,

The market has been all over the place and it still looks to be moving all over the place.

Looking at the tails on some of the candles its been to much for some.

Have a look at the GBP/USD as it looks to be setting up for another move down.

Look at it and see what it does.

Everything is still pointing down.

Will the Euro bounce on the support??

Trading update on the Euro..  I have just come back from doing my bit for the country and casting my vote to see that the Euro and Cable had continued their down trend!  On the hour chart above however, we have Euro on an hour chart using the 200 MA as an area of support.  See if it bounces and turns direction or breaks through and continues its downward trend!

Looking at the market trend update and analysis, we can see that they are predicating a pretty flat day in the markets.  This backs up my twitter when I said that today might be for quick Smash and Grab trades or for those a little nervous, stay out completely or trade a much larger time frame.
